Tacklebox

Calm, parent-controlled tools for families and the people who support them.

The idea

Most family apps want your attention. Tacklebox wants to give it back. It is a small set of tools built for the hard, ordinary moments of raising kids, the kind that arrive without warning and rarely need an expert in the room, just something steady to reach for.

The design grows out of school psychology and child development rather than engagement metrics. The job is to help in the moment and then get out of the way, never to keep a family on a screen.

What it holds to

Who it's for

Parents and caregivers first, and the schools and clinicians who work alongside them. The family always keeps the final say over how the tools behave, even when a school or a provider is part of the picture.

Tacklebox is in active development. This page explains where it's headed; the tools roll out as they're ready. The job-card grounding demo on the main page is one early, working piece of the approach.
